Be Genuine: A Story About Dollar Rent A Car

This week I rented a car from Dollar Rent A Car in St. Louis. It was the best customer service experience I have ever had renting a car.

First was the lady driving the shuttle from the airport. She asked why I was in town. I talked about visiting my Grandfather. I told her how he was suppose to have passed from cancer four years ago, but had not yet. She told me she was a cancer survivor. This lady was really nice and a pleasure to talk to.

Then was the lady who checked me in. She was in her 20s. Extremely genuine! You can’t teach it like this. Very impressive. The kind of person you want to know what they are passionate about and what their future plans are.

On my return, the lady working the desk was so amazing we talked for 15 minutes. The driver had to wait on us. She is a special individual. I’m going to have to come back just to talk with her. She has a gift.

The man driving me back to the airport had lived in two states that I also have lived in. I thoroughly enjoyed our short conversation. Seems like a great guy.

Thank you Dollar Rent A Car for such an awesome experience. You have put together an incredible team in St. Louis. It is not often that renting a car sets the tone, much less a postive one, for one’s day. Nice job!

How does one put together a team like this? Tell me your thoughts in the comments section.
