    Step Into It

“What do you do?” I roll my eyes and begin to answer all the things I am currently involved in from my transition from nonprofit work into coaching…consulting and wherever else this leads me. After a long answer to a simple question, everyone listening has a glazed look in their eyes. I have impressed them with how busy I am (not really), but they really don’t know what I do. Coaching: Ready. Set. Go!

I have launched my Coaching business! As mentioned previously, this May I went to Dan Miller’s Coaching with Excellence. Leaving the event, I set July 1st as my deadline for having something up on my site. On June 30th, I went live with my Coaching Page! I believe I have it but need to do some follow up. 3) What are my next steps? At…

The same day I attended (online) #AccelerateGiving where Andy Stanley spoke. As always, I loved what Andy had to say and took a lot of notes. I was particularly fascinated by what he said about coaching. He said, “Every leader should have a coach.” This was not a big surprise, as this was the point of the conference, to get ministry leaders into fundraising coaching. He then added the following, which has stuck with me. “You can be better than everyone in your industry without a coach.…
