New Year’s Resolution Tips: Start NOW!

Happy New Years! Hope you are ready to have an awesome year. Ready to make some changes? Here is what I recommend:

1) Start Now! As I mentioned previously, now is a great time to start looking at your year. Doing the typical “New Year’s resolution” game is not very helpful for many. Now that you are through the holidays, the gyms are starting to clear out, etc., you can make your changes.

2) Start (or Stop) One Habit. If you could just make one change this year, what would it be? If you could start one habit that would multiply and have an exponential impact on your life, what would it be?

3) Create a Plan. What do you need to get you to your goal? Take a look at what other people have done and then get started.

4) Do It Together! Get some accountability. Find someone doing what you want to do and invite this person to join you. If necessary, do a phone call or text regularly to check in. You may even be able to find someone who is already mastering your habit. Get their help as well. Don’t go alone.

5) Do a Quarterly Offsite. This is a great time to look at the previous 90 days and make plans for the next 90. I think it is helpful to make a goal or two for the year, but I find it much more helpful to focus on 90 day increments.

What tips do you have? Would love to hear your suggestions. Please share below.
