Idea Addicts

3 Idea Addict Books To Read Next

Recently, I shared 6 Books for Idea Addicts. I have read all 6 and love them. Make sure to check out number 5. 🙂 Seriously though, all of them are on my reread list.

On my list next to read are the following. I think they will be particularly helpful for Idea Addicts like me.

The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry by John Mark Comer

I’ve seen the author speak a few times. I wrote down a quote he shared, a few years ago. It was from one famous person to another. “You must ruthlessly eliminate hurry from your life. Hurry is the great enemy of the spiritual life in our day.”

It was the most memorable part of the conference for me. I have never forgotten it. Now Comer has turned it into a book. I’m excited to read this.

The Paradox of Choice: Why More Is Less by Barry Schwartz

I found an older copy of this book and picked it up quickly. The subtitle is “How the culture of abundance robs us of satisfaction.” I don’t know much about this book or the author, but I have experienced how choices often paralyze and derail me in life. Have you ever had that experience? Hoping for some clarity and practical advice in this book.

The Idea Book by Fredrik Haren

Several years ago, I heard this author speak at a creativity themed conference. This book is quite unique. It is a mixture of a journal and a book. It has a lot of space to write, while also having a ton of inspirational content. It is great for any Idea Addict and I’m looking forward to using it.

One word of warning. This book looks really cool. It is tempting to keep it on your shelf and never use it. Don’t do that! Use it. Then, if it actually is helpful, buy another one for your pretty shelf.

Hope these books inspire you. Please share below if you have read them and what you think. Also, please share what you are reading next.
